Saturday: The One Where ZTA Announces Awards

Today is all about recognizing you, our members and chapters, for all you’ve achieved over the past biennium. ZTA’s favorite DJ, Charlie Barrale of You Call It Entertainment, created a Spotify playlist to get you pumped up and excited about tonight’s celebration.

Morning Award Announcements

Academic Achievement

#ZetasAreSmart. Check out the list of chapters that received the Academic Achievement Award for the 2018-2020 biennium for their dedication to academic excellence. This award goes to those chapters that attained Highly Commendable status (3.2 GPA or higher) for at least two consecutive semesters or three consecutive quarters during the biennium. Chapters are selected based on reports received since the preceding Convention.

Fun Fact: We went from 63 winners in the 2016-2018 biennium to having 105 winners for the 2018-2020 biennium! Lots of chapters really stepped up their game!

Quota/Total

These chapters met Quota and maintained Total for the duration of the biennium. Congratulations and thank you for sharing the Zeta Love!

Helping Hands

Every biennium, there are a few chapters that go above and beyond to help International Office and the Fraternity. ZTA recognizes these collegiate and alumnae chapters with the Helping Hand Award.

New Chapters

This biennium, ZTA was thrilled to install Lambda Rho and Lambda Sigma chapters at Piedmont College and The University of Texas at Tyler and reactivate Alpha Eta Chapter at University of Cincinnati. The ZTA alumnae world added new communities where sisters can meet with the chartering of the Treasure Coast, FL Alumnae Chapter and reactivation of the North Valley, CA Alumnae Chapter. Watch the video below to hear from each of our new chapter Presidents.
